Since 1974, The JJH Corporation has been a small company with big credentials. In our proud thirty year history we have rejected growth opportunities in favor of staying small and continuing to offer the personalized service and attention to detail our customers have come to appreciate and expect from us. It all began with John J. Hanky Jr. who received his real estate license at the age of nineteen and throughout the last forty-six years has remained an active and well respected member of the Richmond real estate community.
The company is currently headed by John J. Hanky III (Jay) who assumed the reins in 1986. Jay began working for his dad in high school and has over thirty years of experience in real estate development and construction. Jack’s son-in-law, Paul Marchetti, acts as vice president and specializes in overseeing all custom finish work on new construction and new home sales. Jack’s youngest son, Mike, joined the company in 2004 after spending two years with The Long & Foster Companies. Mike works primarily with residential resale clients and is always seeking out new projects for JJH. Although he’s not a blood relative, Freddie Edwards is certainly part of The JJH Corporation family. Freddie has been in real estate for almost twenty years, beginning his career with Joyner Fine Properties, Over the last eight years Freddie has brought his own style and added several successful development projects to the JJH stable.
Remaining a small company affords us the perspective to understand our customers--the families for which we build homes and developments.
